I love last minute births. This mama decided last minute that she wanted birth photography. I happen to have a space so we planned to meet 2 days later as she was due later this month. I arrived at her house at 4pm. As we met she said she thought she was in early labour. We had our tea date, talked about what she wanted for her birth, then I went home to feed my kids.
As dinner was being put out I was called back her labour was kicking in. By 10pm her baby was born into her and her husbands arms. It was a wonderful home birth with two of my favourite midwives. What a way to meet a family- my job is not boring ever! These two are so much fun and so inviting it all went beautifully. Here are some of the images for our wonderful birth party.
