Yesterday morning my downstairs neighbour called to let me know labour had started, it was still very mild. I dropped off my ELLE TENS machine and a rice sock, which she loved! Just as my kids were drifting off into sleepy-land I got the call to come down stairs quick. My neighbour was feeling like it was time for baby to come! So we rushed to the hospital and met up with Susie Schulz, an amazing midwife from South Community Birth Program, which I volunteer my doula services for. ONE hour later a sweet little girl joined our world. Pink and beautiful. I am so excited to have a baby downstairs, especially since I can give it back when it cries!!!! Welcome to the world sweet girl.
