I just got home from an amazing unmedicated birth at BC Woman’s hospital. Mom and Dad found some major inner strength, so deep roots could grow without water, after labouring at home for 3 days. Little S. was born just 6lbs 13oz on June 11, 2011 at 6:55 am heathy, alert and calm. Look at this baby fresh into this world. Thank you Midwife Susie, Friend Sarah (who also took pictures and who is an amazing photographer ), all the amazing Doctors and Nurses at BC woman’s Hospital, and of course I. and C. who just taught me about great love and trust and allowed me to be part of this magical experience.
